I’ve decided to start a playlist series called the Home Grown Playlists featuring a few big names and a lot of awesome relatively unknown Southern artists to share with y’all every month or so. Here is the first volume in the series! Please reblog and share to spread the word for some of these smaller artists. I’ll be giving away physical, professionally printed copies of each months playlist (along with some other little surprises) to a few people who reblog or like it by the end of April, so get on it y’all! Go download and listen and support local music! Click here or the artwork for the download link.
Yonder come a glad man singing a song about a lover rolled over, said, “you must be tired,” and the truth coming toward the light. About a sad man knocking on a chapel door, and a burned out boat called ‘tried by fire’, and the mouth of the river is wide.
