maybe im an asshole but i feel like when we focus on the fact that minorities are minorities, we just perpetuate the idea that they are somehow inferior. if we would stop spending so much time nitpicking what makes women/gays/non-whites ‘different’ then we probably wouldnt have so much inequality in the long run. and i’m saying this as a female homosexual.
